PRC Released the Results of the April 2016 Criminologists Licensure Examination

Manila, May 17, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 3,928 out of 16,435 passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Criminology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last April 2016. 
 
The members of the Board of Criminology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman; Hon. George O. Fernandez and Hon. Ruben A. Sta. Teresa, Members.

The results were released in eleven (11) working days from the last day of examination.
From May 23 to May 25, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Click HERE and follow instructions for initial registration. 

Those who will register are required to bring the following: 
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps. 
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology will release the results of April 2016 Criminologist board exam in few working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools are available on this page once announced online.

PRC has conducted the Criminologist board exam on April 27, 28 and 29 in the cities of Manila, All Regional Offices including Zamboanga, Bacolod and Antique.

The three-day exam covered the following subjects: criminal jurisprudence, procedure and evidence and law enfocement administration (April 27), criminalistics, crime detection and investigation (April 28); and sociology of crimes and ethics and correctional administration (April 29).

Based on PRC Resolution No. 2015-948, the target release of Criminologist board exam is on Wednesday, May 18 or in 12 working days after the exam.

In the same period last year, results were released in thirteen working days from the last day of examination. PRC named 4,337 out of 14,696 who have passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination.

In October 2015, results out in 24 working days. A total of 9,671 out of 29,591 passed the exams.

Top Performing Schools for Criminologist board exam

University of the Cordilleras (UC) topped the April 2015 Criminologist Licensure Examination with 100 percent passing rate. It was followed by Lipa City Colleges (LCC), University of Baguio (UB) and University of Manila.

In October 2015, UC also dominated the schools with 94.20 percent passing rate.
