PRC Released the Results of the August 2016 Agricultural Engineers Licensure Examination

August 19, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 396 out of 1,002 passed the Agricultural Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Agricultural Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Davao and Legazpi this August 2016.

The members of the Board for Agricultural Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Engr. Ariodear C. Rico, Chairman and Engr. Juana T. Tapel, Member.
 
The results were released in two (2) working days from the last day of examination.
From August 24 to August 25, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
 
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

MANILA, Philippines – The 'August 2016 Agricultural Engineer board exam results', together with the list of passers, top 10 examinees, top performing schools and related announcements will be available at this website soon as PRC officially released the results online 3-4 working days after the last day of board examination.

The licensure examinations were administered by PRC Board of Agricultural Engineering headed by its Chairman, Engr. Ariodear C. Rico (inhibited), Engr. Juana T. Tapel, Officer-In-Charge and Engr. Felimar M. Torrizo, member on August 16-17, 2016 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Legazpi.

RELEASE DATE

According to the Commission’s Resolution No. 2015-948 series of 2015 entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2016”, the target release date for the results August 2016 Agricultural Engineer board exams will be on August 22, 2016 (Monday). However, results may be released earlier or later without prior notice.

On the same exam conducted by PRC on August 2015, results were out after four (4) working days.

REGISTRATION DATE & REQUIREMENTS

Aside from the itemized results posted above, these important registration schedule, requirements and fees shall be secured by a successful examinee.
  • The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced by PRC. 
  • Registration requirements: duly accomplished Oath Form, latest/current CTC or cedula, 1 piece of colored passport ID picture with white background and nametag, 2 sets of doc stamps and 1 short envelope with name and profession written. 
For Manila board passers, PRC is strictly implementing the online registration system for processing of appointment for registration effective March 30, 2016, details of which is written here.

EXAMINATION COVERAGE

The August 2016 Agricultural Engineering board exam covered topics from rural electrification, agricultural processing, agricultural structures and allied subjects (34%); soil and water resources development and conservation, irrigation, drainage and allied subjects (33%); agricultural mechanization, agricultural power, agricultural machinery and equipment and allied subjects (33%).

PREVIOUS EXAMS

During August 2015 Agricultural Engineer board exam, 340 out of 841 examinees passed. UP Diliman ranked first in the top performing school having 35 out of 39 examinees passed or an overall passing rate of 89.74%.

Meanwhile, Ed Marie Cedric Cornejo from Central Bicol State University of Agriculture topped the licensure exam having 82.64%. He was followed by Patrick Jeanne Gallo from Mindanao State University - General Santos City garnering 80.66% and Aaron Rogers Lachica from UP Los Banos having 80.32%.
