PRC Released the Results of the September 2016 Forester Licensure Examination

September 16, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 633 out of 1,370 passed the Forester Licensure Examination given by the Board for Foresters in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Davao, Legazpi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this September 2016.

The members of the Board for Foresters who gave the licensure examination are Neria A. Andin, Chairman; Jose A. Lorenzo and Gerardo T. Cabreros, Members.
 
The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.
From September 22-23, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The Foresters board exam was administered on September 13 and 14 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Legaspi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The members of the Board for Foresters who gave the licensure examination are Monina T. Uriarte, Chairman; Jose A. Lorenzo and Gerardo T. Cabreros, Members.


The Forester board exam covered the following major subjects: forest ecosystem, forest governance and social forestry (September 13) and forest utilization engineering and forest production and management (September 14).

According to PRC Resolution No. 2015-948, the target release date of results of the recent Forester board exam is on Monday, September 19 or in 3 working days after the exam.

In the same period last year, results were announced in just 2 working days. PRC has named a total of 461 out of 961 who have passed the exam.

We advise examinees to monitor announcement of results starting Friday, September 16.
