Manila, April 7, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Electronics Engineering (BEE) will release results of April 2016 Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam in few working days after the tests. The complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page once announced online.
PRC has conducted the first licensure exam for Electronics Engineering this year on April 3-4 (ECE) and April 5 (ECT) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao.
The members of the Board of Electronics Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Alnar L. Detalla, Chairman, Engr. Enrico Claro R. Delmoro and Engr. Herminio J. Orbe, Members.

The program for ECE board exam covered the following subjects: mathematics and electronics engineering on April 3; general engineering and applied sciences (GEAS) and electronics systems and technologies (EST) on April 4.
Meanwhile, ECT exams covered various technical subjects, laws and ethics.
Based on PRC Resolution No. 2015- 948, the target date of release of the recent Electronics Engineering board exam is on Friday, April 8, 2016 or in 3 working days after the exam.
As observed in the previous licensure exams, results are usually out online between 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
In April 2015 exam, results were released in 3 working days. 892 out of 2,552 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 1,066 out of 1,483 passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.
In October 2015, results were also posted after 3 days. PRC named 1,784 out of 4,467 who have passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 2,984 out of 3,518 for the Electronics Technician Licensure exams.
Top Performing School for ECE, ECT board exam
None of the schools has qualified for the April 2015 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. Meanwhile, De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila topped the schools for ECT with 100 percent passing rate.
In October 2015, University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman topped the schools for ECT with 86.96%. DLSU-Lipa, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Sta. Mesa and Southern Luzon State University (SLSU)-Lucban are among the top performing schools for ECT.
