October 28, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,790 out of 5,795 passed the Agriculturist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Agriculture in the cities of Manila, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Pagadian and Zamboanga this October 2016. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The members of the Board of Agriculture are Dr. Fortunato A. Battad, Chairman; Dr. Nora B. Inciong, Inv. Gonzalo O. Catan, Jr. and Mr. Vicente L. Domingo, Members.
From November 10 to November 11, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The October 2016 Agriculturists licensure exams were administered by PRC Board of Agriculture headed by its Chairman, Dr. Fortunato A. Battad and its members, Dr. Rodolfo M. Ela, Dr. Nora B. Inciong, Inv. Gonzalo O. Catan, Jr. and Mr. Vicente L. Domingo on October 19-21, 2016 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
REGISTRATION DATE and REQUIREMENTS
Aside from the itemized results posted above, these important registration schedule, requirements and fees shall be secured by a successful examinee.
- The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced by PRC.
- Registration requirements: duly accomplished Oath Form, latest/current CTC or cedula, 2 pieces of colored passport ID picture with white background and name tag, 2 sets of doc stamps and 1 short envelope with name and profession written.
For Manila board passers, PRC is strictly implementing the online registration system for processing of appointment for registration effective March 30, 2016, details of which are written here.
RELEASE DATE
According to the Commission’s Resolution No. 2015-948 series of 2015 entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2016”, the target release date for the results October 2016 Agriculturist board exam will be on October 28, 2016 (Friday). However, results may be released earlier or later without prior notice.
On the same exam conducted by PRC on April 2016, results were out after four (4) working days.
EXAMINATION COVERAGE
The three-days Agriculturist board exam covered topics from Crop Science, Soil Science, Crop Protection, Animal Science, Agricultural Economics & Marketing and Agricultural Extension & Communication.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
On June 2015, 1,888 out of 6,080 passed the Agriculturist Licensure Examination. University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños was the only school in the top performing school list having 71 out of 72 examinees passed or an equivalent 98.61% overall passing rate.
Meanwhile, Julius Caesar Masi Amoyen from Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - Bacnotan ranked first in Agriculturist board exams garnering 87.00% rating. He was followed by Rohilyn Bertillo Egle from UP Los Baños having 85.67% and Bernadith Tartado Borja from University of Southern Mindanao - Kabacan having 85.50% rating.
